Welcome Lunch & Mehendi

Outdoor garden · Midsummer afternoon · Resort chic

Think a gorgeous Riviera garden party with a South Asian soul. We're going for bright, joyful solids and elegant prints — think coral, turquoise, fuchsia, lime and sunset orange. This is the afternoon to break out your boldest colour.

For Her

Sharara Set

A flowy kurta with wide-leg sharara trousers in a bright solid — fuchsia, coral or lime. Lightweight fabrics like georgette or chiffon are perfect for an afternoon outdoors.

Cotton or Linen Salwar Kameez

Breezy and beautiful. Choose bold block colours or hand-block prints. A contrasting dupatta ties the look together.

Palazzo Set

A crop-top or embroidered blouse with palazzo pants in a vibrant print. Easy to move in and wonderfully resort-chic.

Casual Saree

A linen, cotton or chiffon saree in a bright hue — draped casually for a garden-party feel. Keep the blouse simple and colourful.

Midi or Maxi Dress

A bold-coloured or printed dress works beautifully too. Think floaty, summery and resort-ready.

For Him

Kurta & Pants

A crisp printed or embroidered kurta in a bright colour — yellow, pink, orange, blue or green.

Nehru Jacket & Trousers

A bold-coloured Nehru jacket over a plain kurta with slim trousers. Easy to layer and very dapper for a daytime event.

Linen Kurta & Chinos

Keep it relaxed — a turmeric or mint linen kurta over tailored chinos or linen trousers.

Resort Shirt & Trousers

A printed or colourful camp-collar shirt with tailored trousers — Riviera-meets-Bollywood energy.

A few tips

  • Mehendi will be happening — wear something you don't mind getting a little stain on, or plan to roll up sleeves!
  • This is an outdoor afternoon event so breathable fabrics are a very good idea.
  • Flat sandals, block heels or wedges are ideal — avoid stilettos on the grass.
  • White is best saved for other days, and avoid black as this is a daytime party.

Sangeet

Evening outdoor celebration · Mughal grandeur · Dance floor mandatory

Think Mughal court meets Indian red carpet — rich, opulent and deeply glamorous. We're dreaming of jewel tones and dark, saturated colours: rubies, emeralds, deep navy, amethyst and gold. Come dressed like royalty and ready to dance.

For Her

Lehenga

The ultimate Sangeet look. A flared lehenga skirt with a crop blouse (choli) and dupatta — go for jewel tones with mirror work, sequins or heavy embroidery. More is more tonight.

Anarkali

A floor-length flared anarkali in a jewel tone, adorned with embroidery or sequin work. Effortlessly dramatic and very dance-floor friendly.

Indo-Western Gown

A fusion gown with Indian embellishment — think cape sleeves, mirror-work bodices or heavily embroidered hems in rich, saturated colours.

Saree

Bollywood starlet energy fully unlocked.

For Him

Embroidered Kurta Set

A richly embroidered or printed kurta with matching or contrasting trousers. Sequin or mirror-work kurtas are perfect for the Sangeet energy.

Bandhgala Jacket & Kurta

A structured bandhgala (Nehru collar jacket) in a bold jewel tone over a kurta — sharp, dapper and full of character.

Indo-Western Blazer

A statement blazer in a rich solid or printed fabric worn over a plain kurta or shirt with tailored trousers.

Sherwani

A full sherwani in a bold, richly embroidered fabric. Go for deep jewel tones — not the usual ivory reserved for grooms.

A few tips

  • You will be dancing — pick something you can actually move in!
  • Sequins, mirror work, heavy embroidery — all very welcome and encouraged.
  • Comfort on your feet matters: block heels, wedges or embellished flats are great choices.
  • There's an after-party immediately following — comfortable shoes are your best accessory.

Hindu Ceremony

Outdoor morning ceremony · Indian dress code · Dusty pastels with gold

For the Hindu wedding ceremony, we're dreaming of a palette of soft, dusty pastels — think dusty rose, sage green, muted peach, powder blue and ivory — all with beautiful gold threadwork and delicate embroidery. Elegant, refined and traditionally Indian.

For Her

Lehenga Choli

A pastel lehenga in dusty rose, sage with gold zari (threadwork) or delicate embroidery. Choose lighter fabrics like organza or net for a morning ceremony in the sun.

Anarkali Suit

A floor-length flared anarkali in muted peach or lavender with gold embroidered border detailing — graceful and ceremony-appropriate.

Silk or Georgette Saree

A pastel silk, chiffon or georgette saree with a contrasting gold or embroidered border. Pair with a fitted or embellished blouse for an elegant, traditional look.

Palazzo Suit Set

An embroidered kurta in a pastel shade with matching wide-leg palazzo trousers and a sheer dupatta — the perfect blend of traditional and modern.

Patiala / Salwar Set

A beautifully embroidered kameez with patiala pants or a straight salwar in a soft dusty palette. Comfortable for sitting during the ceremony.

For Him

Nehru Jacket or Vest over Kurta Pyjama

A structured Nehru jacket or fitted vest in ivory, sage or dusty blue worn over a matching kurta pyjama — elegant, traditional and perfectly ceremony-ready.

Kurta Pyjama

A classic cotton or silk kurta in a soft pastel — sage, ivory or pale pink — with matching or contrasting churidar or straight-cut trousers. Understated and beautifully refined.

Bandhgala Suit

A muted pastel bandhgala jacket with matching trousers — a slim-fitting, polished look that reads formal without being overdressed for a morning ceremony.

A few tips

  • Indian attire is warmly encouraged and absolutely appreciated for this ceremony.
  • The ceremony takes place outdoors in the morning — light, breathable fabrics will keep you comfortable.
  • You may be seated on the floor or low seating during parts of the ceremony, so keep that in mind when choosing your outfit.
  • There will be a lunch immediately after, so a little extra comfort never goes amiss.

Sunday 11 October · 5:00 pm Nikkah · 8:00 pm Reception

Nikkah & Reception

Evening outdoor ceremony and dinner · Black tie / Formal

Our evening celebration calls for your most glamorous, formal look. This is the black-tie moment of the weekend. Dress to dazzle.

For Her

Gown / Floor-Length Dress

A long, formal gown.

For Him

Black Tie Suit / Tuxedo

A classic tuxedo or black-tie suit — black, midnight navy or deep bottle green. A bow tie is traditional; a silk tie works too. Timeless and always right.

A few tips

  • Please avoid white — this is reserved for the bride.
  • This is a black-tie occasion — the more glamorous the better!
  • The Nikkah ceremony leads directly into the Reception, so your evening outfit should work across both.
  • There is an after-party following the reception — bear in mind the dancing shoes situation.
